Nature is the living force.

Architecture does not stand apart from it, nor does it seek to dominate it. It enters into a partnership — becoming part of an existing living system and contributing to its continuity.

ROG also expresses a broader social view. We do not live outside nature; we are part of it. Architecture therefore has a responsibility to create places where this connection can be experienced in everyday life — where living, working and being in nature are no longer separate conditions.
